The Silent Guard® Architectural Series commercial window system provides the highest performance standards for mid- and high-rise commercial buildings with the flexibility to combine multiple configurations and meet unique application needs.
With the ability to use multiple configurations on one project, this system evolves window-wall design by providing stronger, more energy-efficient windows with a streamlined appearance, creating a superior product that meets all commercial window needs.
Styles: Available in a variety of configurations for both new construction and replacement projects, including tilt-and-turn, casement, awning, fixed window, in-swing and out-swing door, tilt-and-slide door, multi-lite and stacked units. The system is also available with a full range of standard and concealed hardware options from all major hardware suppliers.
Features: Accommodates up to 15/8″ insulating glass unit to maximize thermal and acoustic performance. In triple-pane configurations the system achieves well below NFRC .20 U-factor with CR over 75. The Silent Guard® Architectural Series addresses the need for an optimal mix of strength, energy performance and aesthetics for commercial installations, while meeting all necessary requirements for AW ratings.
MIKRONBLEND® Test- and performance-Proven
All Silent Guard extrusions feature proprietary MikronBlend® vinyl compound. Formulated to withstand the toughest conditions and standards, it is tested tough and real-world proven for over 30 years. You will find windows with Silent Guard® frames in the harshest field test environments: the hot, dry Arizona desert, Florida heat and humidity, and Midwest weather and temperature extremes.
Additionally, ASTM test procedures verify MikronBlend® Delta-E performance. Windows and doors featuring MikronBlend vinyl surpass strict industry measures for color fastness and UV degradation and won’t chalk or appreciably fade, even after years of weather performance.
The system incorporates superior, patent-pending, SuperCapSR™ thermally-fused color technology, which absorbs less heat to prevent heat-related profile distortion even in darker colors. SuperCapSR is available in architectural bronze, adobe, black, and silver (replicating a clear anodized aluminum finish). Also available in white, adobe, or almond MikronBlend® vinyl compound. Custom options are available.
